Groundbreaking Ceremony for Partner Family

Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity recently broke ground on a new home for a partner family in Calabash. The ceremony was attended by Habitat staff, volunteers, community members, and future homeowners.

“In an environment where housing affordability is an increasingly challenging issue for many families, this groundbreaking is a symbol of hope and a testament to the power of community here in Brunswick County,” said Jason Gaver, Executive Director of Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity. “We are proud to partner with this family on their path to safe, affordable homeownership, and we’re grateful to all of the supporters who make our mission possible.”

The home is being built through Habitat’s affordable homeownership program, which provides partner families with a stable and secure place to live.

“Thanks to the hard work of volunteers and the generosity of donors, Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity continues to make homeownership possible for families who need a hand up,” said Gaver.
