WWAY — Monday Habitat for Humanity held a wall blessing for the Ingram family in Southport.
People gathered and wrote positive messages on the walls to provide the family with love and support as they step closer to becoming homeowners.
This will be the first two-story house built by the Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity.
Samantha Ingram, is very grateful that she and her children will soon have a home of their own.
“I did have an application in 2022, but I wasn’t sure if that was something I wanted to do at that time. Then, the final push for me was thinking about being a homeowner and thinking about if something happened to me what would I leave my kids. I wanted to leave them something that had a statement behind it and what better than a house,” Ingram said.
Ingram adds she is thankful and blessed for this opportunity.
