Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity announced today the resignation of its Executive Director, Jason Gaver. The organization will begin a search for a new leader to further its mission of building homes, communities, and hope in Brunswick County.
“We are grateful for Jason’s contributions as Executive Director and wish him the very best in his future endeavors,” said Toni Whitaker, Board President of Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity. “We have a strong board and capable team in place to ensure that this is a smooth, seamless transition. All construction projects, ReStore operations, and homeowner support services will continue uninterrupted.”
The Board of Directors will begin the process of searching for a new Executive Director. Information regarding the position and application process will be made available in the coming weeks.
“The strength of Habitat for Humanity has always been its people: our volunteers, our staff, and the families we serve,” added Whitaker. “That remains as true today as ever. We are excited for the future and remain fully committed to our mission of building homes, communities, and hope throughout Brunswick County.”
